Savannah Children's Heart Center:

I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews here. My daughter's pediatrician heard a heart murmur and we were referred here to get it seen about. Our appointment was at 9:45. Barely sat down in the waiting room before we were called back. Had an EKG first which was quick. Then we were taken to a room. They do have a sign posted that says you may experience long wait times due to them being a specialized office and their patients having complex conditions. We sat in the room for about 40 minutes, but we didn't mind the wait. There were toys and books in the room to keep my daughter entertained (she loved the Where's Waldo book!) The doctor came in to discuss the EKG. Then, we sat for another 10 minutes or so and they got us for the echo. After the echo we sat for maybe 30 minutes while he reviewed it and came to talk to us about it. The appointment was at 9:45 and we were leaving by 11:21. I feel like they were very up front about their wait times. Everyone in the office from the front desk to the nurse/MA to the echo tech and Dr. Zachary Burch himself were very nice and professional. I would 100% recommend this office. We had an excellent experience.

Extremely disappointing experience. We had a 9:00 AM appointment and it's now 10:45 AM -- we're still waiting to be seen. It's clear this provider consistently overbooks appointments without any communication about delays. I've never waited this long for a scheduled visit anywhere. The lack of time management and consideration for patients' time is unacceptable. It's incredibly frustrating to feel like your time doesn't matter.

The best peds cardiology group. My son has a complex issues and they are extremely compassionate and very professional. They truly care about their patients!

Out of all the times my child has been seen here, we have been at this place 3+ hours. This is unacceptable for toddlers and young children. Especially because how absolutely disgusting this place is. I don't see how HCA allows this place to be so nasty. I have an almost two year old so of course he isn't going to sit still for an hour and a half in the waiting room. They could at least put more effort into having a clean facility if they are going to make toddlers wait that long to be called back. Photo of chairs in the waiting room.

******UPDATE - THE FURNITURE IN THE LOBBY HAS FINALLY BEEN UPDATED BY HCA - LOOKS GREAT********THE CHAIRS IN THE WAITING ROOM ARE OWNED BY HCA AND THEY REFUSE TO REPLACE THEM - NO FAULT OF THE OFFICE - My son saw Dr. Burch for chest pain. He was very kind and thorough. The office staff was friendly and professional.
