Dr. Bailey and his team are priceless. On June 3rd, 2022 he performed robotic lung surgery to remove my lobe that had lung cancer tumors. My recovery has been very easy and remarkably painless. His Bedside manners are as good as his surgery skills. Thank you Dr. Bailey, Darron, Janna and all of his staff for a job well done. If anyone, needs a Cardiac or Thoracic Doctor, I highly recommend, Dr. Marcus Bailey at Saint Joseph/Candler Hospitals. Dottie Rothman

My experience with Dr. Bailey and his staff was outstanding. They accommodated my urgent need of having a pericardial cyst removed by scheduling surgery time from another physician as Dr. Bailey was already booked for the next two weeks. I had a complication with AFIB occurring after surgery and ended up in the ICU at St Josephs Candler. The care there was unlike any I have experienced. The team of nurses were so caring and constantly by my side. No one could ask for better care.

Dr. Bailey and his PA are great at what they do. The only reason I am not giving them 5 stars is because their staff does not relay correct information back to them. I called the office post op in pain and the nurse was supposed to call me back after reaching an on call physician because Bailey was not in office that week. She never called me back and wrote in the notes that I declined an appointment which is false. On behalf of Dr. Bailey and his PA, they were patient with me, preformed my surgery with minimal scarring. I do recommend Dr. Bailey as well as his staff. However, I do hope that his staff is educated about the importance of their patients. The pain I felt and was forced to deal with and having no help for an entire week was not necessary but I had to deal with due to her negligence.

I had lung surgery on Jan 4, 2023. The lower part of my right lung as well as the Nogel & several limp nodes were removed & I am now cancer free on that side. Dr Bailey seams to be a great doctor. My problem is with his staff. On January 21st I had an X-ray that Medicare did not cover. I am waiting on paperwork from them and was requested to include a letter from his PA Darron Jones stating it was medically necessary. I spoke with Fay & Konisha in his office, but as of yet I have not had any response. All of his staff are the most inconsiderate & uncaring people I have ever dealt with. They say they will be glad to help you, but that is not true, his staff is a joke. They should all be fired.

Doctor Bailey is absolutely the best doctor for skill, thoroughness, and communicating with the patients and families. He deserves five stars. Sadly, due to the office staff disorganization, difficulty in getting timely appointments, appointment changes not communicated to patients, it is very frustrating trying to obtain care with this excellent surgeon. The notes in patient chart about staff having left phone messages on patient phone do not agree with the ATT records of our phones' call logs.
