Himanshu Patel, MD, is a board-certified cardiologist. Dr Patel is deeply committed to the care of all his patients and is driven by his compassion and desire to help all people. His motto is, "if you need our help, we will see you." Dr Patel earned his medical degree at LSU New Orleans School of Medicine and completed his residency program in internal medicine at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. He then completed a cardiology fellowship from Albert Einstein Medical Center, also in Philadelphia. Along with providing his patients with exceptional cardiac care, Dr Patel enjoys hiking, golfing, tennis, traveling and music. He speaks fluent Gujarati.

Staff is wonderful. Very considerate. Lobby was busy but not a long wait. Quick check in and out. They did my blood work on the spot and at that office. No extra stop at another facility. Dr. Patel is thorough and easy to understand. He's a good Doc.
Trion & Rome bothDr. Patel always has time to go over your test and/or other pertinent info about your health. He explains things in a way you can understand. If you don't understand he will take the time to be sure you do. His office staff are awesome, both in Trion & Rome
Getting me back to feeling like I can walk across the room without the many emotions it comes with. Mind wants to go go go but the body is constantly at battle with the mind's thinking. That is the goal and I'll be in utter forever gratitude when this is accomplished.
I can say that the wait time was very short. The Dr answered my questions and was very polite. The only problem I have is the getting in and out of the office. It's not designed for handicap people. It's very awkward to get wheelchairs in and out ant the rooms are to small.
Overall a very nice and really good doctor. He shows compassion and concern with me every time I see him. He has always been honest about his feelings about my situation and how he wants to help me. I'm very pleased with his attitude, care and understanding with me as a person/ patient.
