Patient
At first, I was a little reluctant to go all the way to Rome for a Dr, but once I saw the Dr I was very pleased and even though the surgeon couldn't completely make me feel better about the whole situation, he was caring, honest, and up front with what was going on. I won't lie about it, I was scared considering all the circumstances, but I was put much more at ease as it was explained to me what was going on and what was to happen. I did wait quite a while to see the Dr. but was really happy that as he explained to me they were running later that day than any time before as every patient seemed to need more time than usual and he wanted to give that time as needed. I told him that was quite ok and that I really appreciated it as I would like to be treated that way as a patient should I need the extra time. Although I walked away still somewhat scared, I knew I was in good hands and that God would guide this doctor's hand to take care of me in surgery. I'm glad I was sent to Rome even though it is an hour and a half drive each way for me as I have a fantastic surgeon! Thank you to the Dr and all his staff!
