Dr. Mandadi saved both of my parents lives and mine. He is an excellent physician and has a great bedside manner. Especially when he told my 93 year old father he did not have much time left. He is very concerning and nice. I would recommend him to everyone.

This cardiologist takes the time to explain results in an understandable manner; was caring and professional; wants to know family history and personal habits which could affect your health. Thorough and helpful plus I've heard nothing but excellent comments from the technical team at the hospitals regarding Dr Mandadi's technical skills. Just because a physician suggests a patient stops smoking for their heart health, should not be the reason the patient becomes vindictive and writes a negative review on google!! He's trying to help her live longer!! Dr Mandadi is an excellent clinician and surgeon!

Feburary 17th, 2015 just a little over a year ago.......LEFT MAIN ARTERY DISSECTION causing a massive heart attack resulting in triple bypass. I went in at Henry Piedmont Hospital in Stockbridge Ga. to have a heart cath done by Dr. Mandadi to check for any blockages due to a ct scan showing some coronary calcification. Immediatly upon making entry into my right wrist artery with the cath Dr. Mandadi collapsed the artery causing moderate discomfort. I told him numerous times he was hurting me he bacame aggravated with me stating that if I could not calm down then he would just stop the procedure and I would have to do it some other time, I said no sir please just do what needs to be done and get it over with of course I was crying at this point. No sooner than I said that I felt the most god awful pain in my chest I looked at him and said oh my god you did it what did you do he called out in a very panicked voice and said we have a aortic dissection and told me what had happened at this time everything in the operating room went frantic and crazy. I went into a massive heart attack begging the nurse to not let me die feeling the pain on both sides of my chest, my left leg, my head began to pound and i got super nauseous. i remember hearing the doctor call for the paddles and medication to be pushed through the iv and calling for the life flight which was busy on another call so they called for an ambulance to transport me to Piedmont Atlanta Hospital where Dr. John Gott performed emergency open heart surgery and saved my life. I remember telling them to please go out and tell my dad and my husband goodbye and that i loved them both because i knew i was dying, they allowed them to come back and see me in the operating room as they were attempting to stabalize me for transport to the other hospital due to the fact that this hospital was not equipped to handle the situation and Dr. Mandadi could not fix what he had caused. Dr. Mandadi went out to the family room where they had called my dad and husband to explain what had just happened he said to them that I was that 1 in a million that it had happened he had slipped and cut my artery. I went back to that hospital and everyone was so super surprised to see me because they thought I had not made it. I was in the other hospital on life support for a few days then remained in the hospital for another week. I spent my anniversary in the hospital, I am allergic to all pain meds therefore I had to recover completely natural no pain meds. This was and still is a very traumatic experience that I sincerely hope no one ever has to go through. Dr. Mandadi never checked on me nor made any attempt at an apology. I have been told by numerous heart dictors that I am a miracle that my maker had me and sent me back I know God was with me through that or I would not be here today I am super blessed and thankful!! My heart function is at only 40% due to Dr. Mandadi mistake, and what makes it worse is that the other doctors have confirmed that there was NOTHING wrong with my heart before Dr. Mandadi made his mistake which I believe he would not have made had he not been aggravated, maybe next time he will take a moment to gather his self before continuing and taking this risk again. There is so much more I could say about my experience but I believe I have gotten my point across! Thank You and I pray Dr. Mandadi will have better bedside manners and patience with his patients in the future! Patient: Angela Dykes
