Dr. Rashmi Hooda, MD

This doctor and staff are an absolute joke! I arrived prior to my scheduled appointment so i could give my copay and fill out paperwork. First, the office building is marked with some other name on the marquee and it is listed as a different type of practice. The building appeared to be vacant while looking from the outside, i was not even sure if i was in the right place. I went inside and the people working there are not exactly the friendliest of most welcoming people. The office is barren. There are no side tables or lamps or magazines or brochures or pictures on the wall. There are chairs lining the walls. No hand sanitizer and yet you are required to wear a mask. Of course i was not doing that and did not. That was the only signage i saw - the doctor requires a mask. I was told what my co pay would be and proceeded to hand my debit card to the lady at the front desk. She promptly told me they ONLY accept CASH payments of via apps on the phone like cash app. Seriously?! This place was looking more and more shady by the minute. I also was told i needed to pay the doctor directly. I sat back down, apprehensive. You would think this would be something they tell you when you make an appointment. I guess that would have required the staff to do something though. I waited and waited to be called. There was just one other person in the room and i think he was there to see another doc. I kept waiting despite being the first appointment of the day. I finally got up to inquire about my appointment because i had been waiting awhile and no one had been seen before me. The front desk lady told me she had not even arrived yet. It was half an hour after my scheduled appointment. I learned that she only is there one day a week and has no other offices anywhere else. They said " i guess she will be here at some point...". I eventually got up and cancelled due to her not showing up to her scheduled appointment in an office where she only has to go one day a week. This seemed like a doctor in a box- one that takes tour money and then you get no results, etc. Do yourself a favor- read most recent reviews- this is a pattern and she needs to be reported. If they can not be concerned with my time, how can she be concerned about my health. Do not go here, find another doctor.

Worst experience at doctors office...first clue should've been that they only accept cash...sketchy to say the least...staff is incredibly rude and unhelpful...constantly give incorrect info and don't know what's going on...tried to get double money for two appointments when they couldn't accomplish one. Spent 90 min waiting for the doctor who again went to see someone else...no one working at the office found it weird to wait hours to see doctor who is only there one day a week mind you! I literally needed nothing but an insulin refill and clearly this was wayyyy too complicated for them! They obviously couldn't care less about patients because they know my insulin script is up and are more worried about getting as much money as can out of me then actually giving me the very simple meds I need and have needed for decades and have been taking for decades. Not rocket science but they are missing common sense and basic empathy...things you would hope to see from your doctor! Stay away! Save yourself, your time and your money!

Love that Dr Hooda makes me feel she is family that truly cares and loves me as a whole person! She got my thyroid regulated, sinus allergies under control, and helped me through many crisis situations. I love her and no other doctor comes close over the six years I have been her patient. You will love her too!
