My mother was seen promptly, with much attention to detail and with good, active follow-up. Dr Bladuell and the Mom's kidney doctor determined the kidneys are primarily causing the leg swelling, along with mom having vein problems. A heart problem proved to be less severe than was initially thought to be the case. Dr Bladuell gave instruction, and actively monitored mom's symptoms. My mom has listened and done all things she had been instructed to do, add, stop, or change. Follow-up visits were promptly kept; Medications were "tweaked" to get the best result with no kidney impact. Mom's leg swelling is greatly diminished, she is comfortable, and more active, and more healthy, in general.
