Piedmont Macon

I got transferred here from Peach County Hospital and I was here for 3 days because of a bowel obstruction. This hospital by far is the best in Middle Georgia. While I was there the entire staff treated me with top tier service and with the respect and they all had the best bedside manners. God forbid if I have to be hospitalized again but if that is the case then I know what Hospital I want to be in. Big thanks to entire staff for the care and compassion that I received. P.S. They also have the prettiest nurses too.

I drove all the way from Atlanta to be seen in this ED and I was really pleased. Everyone from the lady who checked me in to the triage nurse was pleasant and really friendly. I walked in at 335 and was walking out before 7. I had blood drawn, urine taken, administered pain meds, CT done, and antibiotics all within a 3 hour time frame. I was pleasantly surprised at how fast they were moving because I have been in the waiting room at hospitals in my area for literally 5-6 hours if not longer. Kimberly Seabrooks NP, the female, and male nurses whose name I can't remember were awesome! Thank you for caring and being efficient!

Came up to labor and delivery for decreased fetal movement. Everything was rushed and I left severely misinformed and injured. The nurse was nice but was careless with handling and made me burn and bleed after she did my swab to test to see if my water had broken. She didn't use anything to help open my vagina, nothing but the long skinny swab and she was very rough. She didn't even look to see where she was inserting. The on call OBGYN did the swab initially and it didn't hurt at all, but she didn't store it properly and the test got ruined so she sent the nurse to swab again except this time the nurse didn't use a speculum to help open me up so the swab injured me. She just jammed it deep inside and swabbed and it was incredibly painful. I went to pee and noticed blood and burning while hospitalized. I told the nurse about the bleeding before I left and she disregarded what I said, I got home and am bleeding and burning even more when I urinate. The on call OBGYN was not welcoming and rushed the whole process. She kept saying she didn't think my water broke which was okay with me and good to hear since im only 37 weeks but she kept asking questions without letting me actually answer them throughly. She examined me in less than 3 minutes and then left and I didn't see her anymore. They ran lab test and came back to say that I had a "possible" UTI and to go get antibiotics for it and drink water. The antibiotics were sent to a pharmacist in an entire different city that was on file from 2012 that I've since moved from that is 2 hours away now, the doctor then said she didn't know how to change it to a closer pharmacy. It's up to me to get the medicine transferred. They never asked for my current pharmacy. I was discharged and sent home since my baby passed the 8 point test and seemed to be okay. I'm currently sitting here burning and bleeding at home 4 hours later and I called the charge nurse once again and she just kept saying that she couldn't diagnose me over the phone. No empathy at all for what their nurses have already caused even though she said herself that it's not normal to burn and bleed after a swab. I don't trust coming back to this place for labor or delivery or any other symptoms. They did an ultrasound and the tech was super nice and gentle but informed me that she was not allowed to share any findings and I would have to wait for radiology to discuss them with me. The nurse came in afterwards and took it upon herself to "take a peak" anyways and started giving me feedback even though she wasn't supposed to per my knowledge. I was told to wait for the radiologist specifically.

Front desk was nice and welcoming but the ultrasound technician that was on shift at 11:00 a.m.was Very unprofessional did not take her time to give me the proper care ... I could feel the bad energy from the time she came to transport me upstairs you can tell she hate her job i came in with concerns about my baby she has bad communication skills. The nurse wasn't even done with me before she brought a half naked white man in the room where I was getting ready to leave out of she put him on the bed without even changing the sheets after servicing me very nasty very unpleasant atmosphere first and last time visiting do better ob ultrasound tech

Please don't have a child here, I remember giving birth naturally a the nurses telling me "it's not that bad I gave birth before". They deal with people but don't know how to deal with people. Very unprofessional and rude. There's a white doctor with a bald head and facial hair an he was the worst, I guess all the other nurses just follow his lead.
