My test was done by Jason who was most professional. He took time to explain carefully every single aspect of what my test would entail. He made sure I understood everything that was being done as I was getting my IV, getting the medications and imaging. He was reassuring and played calming music during the imaging. During my stress test he explained each step again and then carefully assessed while I was being monitored. My carotid artery imaging was done by another very competent professional whose name I didn't know. I admit I was a little nervous about my test but my experience was very good. I felt well cared for and had no problem trusting that the people taking care of me were well trained and trustworthy and that they were committed to making my medical tests as safe and comfortable as they can be. Very friendly and courteous office staff. The nurse were friendly and professional and took the time to answer my questions. Dr Meyer wasn't rushed he took his time to answer my questions and made me feel very comfortable while talking about my heart.

Negative vibes and a cold. foreboding atmosphere meets you when you walk in. All nursing and ancillary staff looked unhappy. No a smile to be seen. We are agreeable, kind, and interactive folk when we visit a doctor. The cardiologist was distant and uninterested. His responses to our concerns were caddy, short, and condescending; a horrible bed side manner. We remained silent and let him belittle us with his superior attitude. I almost left the room 3 times but remained pleasant. He has "over 51 years experience" but maybe that isn't a good thing. Medical care in Middle Georgia is lacking and this visit showed how dysfunctional the medical community is in the area. We cannot recommend this practice. Proceed with caution if you decide to go.

The office is clean and organized. After filling out the paperwork because it was my first visit, they took me to a room fairly quickly and got right to work. The staff is very professional and knowledgeable. I would recommend Middle Georgia Heart.
