Patient
On 02/02/2023 what I experienced was insultingly offensive customer service accusing me of canceling my appointment but then driving to also make the appointment. Disregarding they forwarded by email and text several reminders for the appointment up to the day before the appointment. When I met with Mr Allen O'bryant my concerns and frustration grew. He too provided a dismissive response to my experience that day. He was offensively sarcastic and justified their inhouse inefficiencies as "just mere human errors". This behavior starts from the top trickled down upon your staff to treat patients as incompetent. My experience was when this office gets caught making demeaning patients and making avoidable errors they do not hold themselves accountable they instead try to blame shame the patient. They let their bad days show through and they reference one another as incompetent. Mr. Allen O'bryant made a concerning statement that Dr. Emerole does not always input patient notes in a timely manner for follow up or reference. Therefore there are times patient medical records could result in incomplete or missing patient information. More red flags were raised and he did not seem to care that he was making me very emotionally concerned and frustrated by his comments. More red flags experiencing his sarcastic and dismissive tone stating that he will not guarantee the glitches in scheduling issues will not be an ongoing and inconveniences could occur through human errors with future appointments and he added sarcastically that he does not predict the future. By this time I just saw him as a toxic narcissistic person hiding behind an administrative title and that this office could not be trusted with my healthcare needs for a Cardiologist. As Mr O'bryant was walking me out towards the lobby he continued to make sarcastic remarks to my silence of trying to ignore his sarcasm. After I left I sat in my car in the parking lot to regain my emotional and mental composure and I contacted the VA to assist me with finding another Cardiologist. I shared my very concerning experience and shared my concerned thoughts grew to what if they prescribed me a wrong medication, or caused an irreversible surgical procedure through incompetence, or caused me financial hardships through incompetence. Their only response would be "they are just making mere human errors ". Also I had to regain composure in my car because I lose a sense of direction when I'm stressed and overwhelmed. On that day 02/02/2023, I left that office with feelings of triggered anxiety and stress, I experienced heart palpitations from my heart disease. Mr. Allen O'bryant raised too many red flags and made my overall experience overwhelmingly stressful. My overall experience made me feel as if I had made a very incompetent choice of trusting and choosing Dr. Emerole as my Cardiologist. For those reasons based on my personal experiences with this office I would never refer them and the 1 star provided is because not everyone that works there are responsible during my two initial visits seeking Dr. Emerole as my Cardiologist. He may be a good Doctor but due to too many red flags raised. I did not have an opportunity to experience his credibility as a good Doctor.
