Gary J. Elkin, MD

I don't have a problem with his location or anything of that nature. I don't have any issues with any of the staff however I do have valid issues with Dr. Elkin himself. I strongly feel as though he always treated me like cattle and by this I mean here you in and quickly here you out. He never seemed to have a problem with my VERY HIGH NO and would never have any concerns that it always stayed VERY HIGH NO matter what. The only thing ever given to me was a small patch that only released a very small amount of medication. I was already on 4 different meds from my GP and I still am. Doctors are in medicine (seemingly) just for the money they take in and they care less of their patients health.

Dont believe any of the low ratings. He is a cardiologist, not a therapist. Of course he sees you quickly, he reviews records and tests before talking to you. You dont need to talk to him for 20 mins to give him any more info, that he already has. I find him very friendly, professional and everything i want in a specialist. He knew all my clotting disorders when he walked in the room, and that was on my very first visit. Big thumbs up!

He is a Cardiologist and has main office in Savannah, Georgia. He works out Saint Joseph/Candler Hopitals.
