Southern Crescent Family Practice

I see I'm not the only one with a bad review. Believe whatever they're saying because it's true. The people at this facility do not care about patients or their health. They only care about money. Do yourself a favor and avoid the headache and find a better provider. There are MANY in the area with great reviews. My wife and I cancelled Southern Crescent today and found a much better facility in the same day.

If I could give this 0 stars I would. This clinic is more about finding loopholes to make money off of poor people than actually providing quality health care. They do things like requiring appointments before preventative care so that they can charge you twice. Often times insurance won't pay for both visits, so you as the patient are left with the bill. Their office never answers the phone are returns voicemail messages. Just over all a terrible and frustrating experience especially in times like these when people are just trying to do the minimum to stay healthy and companies like these take advantage.

I have been a patient at this practice for nearly 3 years. The staff and services have gotten worse and now at the point, I have decided to move on. The wait time is terrible. My last appt. I was there at 8 and left at 12 noon. I had a flu shot and now I'm wondering if that is what I got. The nurse was not sure what she was doing, she couldn't find her materials to work with, extremely disorganized. The front desk was trying to give me a referral, it appeared she did not have a clue, she said I'm normally in billing, I don't know why I'm even doing this referral stuff. I wish Dr. Andrews would spend more time there, before the practice is no longer effective. I felt like I was at a clinic, poor poor service.

My first experience going to this office was fine. The wait was longer than I would have liked and it has been quite the time getting them to respond to the pharmacy for my prescription. Dr. Andrews was an open down to earth doctor and even the nurse practitioner was good when I came back the second appt. For now, I will continue to go.

I must say my experience with Southern Crescent was great! When I went, I was able to be seen, taken care of and got what was needed to rectify my issue. The wait time was a little longer than expected, but once I was seen, I began to understand why! If you want to go somewhere and have a brief "look over"... this is not the place for you. But if you want to be at a place where you're not just a "patient" or "client" or quick "insurance claim", and want the feeling that your issues are important and you actually matter as a human being... this just might be the place for you!
