She should work at a doc in the box. She probably actually spends less time than them with her patients.. Condescending mannerism. Didn't explain or let me know about her "diagnosis". Had to find it on my chart that she had diagnosed me with anything after the first visit, which freaked me out. Other medical professionals and receptionists like her. As a patient, I don't understand why. Her "diagnosis" is something she gave after speaking with me for less than five minutes. And according to everything I had researched, she had no basis for said diagnosis. Hopefully my next cardiologist with Northside will be more interested in my well being.

I had an echocardiogram at Northside Hospital Cardiovascular Institute, Heather Westmorland signed off as the interpreting physician. Luckily I had an appointment with another cardiologist the next week. He looked at the report, examined me and said he needed to get me to the hospital as soon as possible and perform a procedure. He performed the procedure and I made a full recovery. Westmorland either overlooked the seriousness of my report or wasn't concerned.

This was the best visit I had at a medical practice that I can ever remember. All of the staff were excellent, friendly and courteous. Dr. Westmoreland explained things well and I felt extremely confident with her assessment. What a great experience and I would gladly recommend this practice.

I have been seeing Dr. Westmoreland for about a year now. So far very impressed she is very thorough and caring.
