My dad was seen at this office for a EKG which would not register(the chest leads would not stick) because he had put lotion on his chest prior to the office visit ,which he was not informed, not to do, instead of the doctor saying it would not register , we will make you another appointment to comeback , the doctor told him his heart was abnormal even though he was not able to get a proper reading from the EKG. So here is the kicker, they scheduled him a 2nd appointment to comeback and told him it would be a $275.00 co-payment for the next office visit, (his co-payment for his insurance is $50 which he paid) and they also scheduled him a 3rd appointment to be seen at another one of there locations for a stress test and it would be another $275.00 co-payment , so my Dad being the sound 80 plus man he is called his insurance company Aetna and they informed him that for the prescribed services they were going to perform they were over charging him. So beware of Georgia Heart Specialist, they are not about providing sound health care, and will give you a bogus diagnosis to make more money off you, and potentially put your health in jeopardy. My Dad will not be going back to them.
