Patient Reviews

Patient

I have been a patient for a little over a year now and was coming up on my 3rd fasting labs and my 6-month checkup with Dr. Wommack. I sent a message the other day explaining that my insurance is not going to cover bloodwork twice a year and that this would be my second time. I even explained that I would have to come out of pocket for this. The response I received was "Dr. Wommack says it is important that you get these done" I responded with I can get bloodwork done after the first of the year, but my insurance won't cover twice a year. However, I could come to the visit the week after to discuss things with him. I received no response back, instead, I went to check my patient portal this morning and it had been deactivated. I called the office and they explained that he had dropped me as a patient all because I couldn't get blood work done unless I paid out of pocket. I'm not sure how other Dr's are at this practice, but I would recommend going to any of them before having to settle for someone like Dr. Wommack. If you do go to him, be prepared to never miss a single appointment for any reason, even if you give that reason ahead of time or he will deem you a problem patient and drop you. He at least filled my prescriptions for 30 more days, so hopefully those won't run out while I try to find another doctor at a different practice. Be prepared also to spend way more than your copay for blood work and the office visit that accompanies it. Then when you call the billing department, get hung up on because you're explaining that your insurance covers it if it is billed correctly. Shoutout to Tequila in billing for doing that. As a patient and someone who has taken my medicine as prescribed, been working on doing better, and had not missed or ignored anything he has said to me up to this point, this response from someone who is a medical professional was anything but. Clearly I was never a patient here, I was more of a paying customer. Supposedly I will be receiving a letter in the mail from him officially dropping me as a patient, which I'm sure he took the time himself to type out and didn't have someone else do it. He could've called me or reached out to me in some way after my last message, but chose to drop me instead. If you read this and still decide to go to him as a patient, I wish you luck and hope your experience will be a better one.

Dr. Blanton and his employees are nothing but friendly and professional from the moment of check in to the time I left. Dr. Blanton is so thorough and listens to my concerns. Very pleased!

I have been a patient of Dr. Anna Ulmer for over a year. She was always nice and friendly. However, I had a doctor's appointment on 01/27/2025, and she was vulgar and disrespectful to me. She had a bad attitude as soon as she walked in the door, and I was extremely sick. I asked her why she seemed upset, and her response was even more degrading. I was so hurt that I sat in the parking lot and cried after my appointment that my doctor could treat me so cold and with no compassion as I suffered from severe health issues. She didn't care about my well-being, and I had to ASK her to evaluate me. I will no longer see her. Why become a doctor and not care for patients? The front office staff and the nurses there are amazing, and I will continue to use Horizons Diagnostics (with a new doctor), however, if you are a new patient looking for a doctor, do not choose Anna Ulmer! - Trust me!

Kind, caring, courteous and efficient. This review certainly needs to be updated to publicly thank Dr. Harvey Harris for the exceptional care he provides to myself and my husband. I can truthfully say that I have never had such trust in a Doctor like I do with Dr. Harris. He and his staff are readily available via the Patient Portal for all of our additional needs. Thank you Dr. Harris and staff for all you do for your patients. You are greatly appreciated!

The staff is always wonderful! There is a reason I continue to come back. They are knowledgeable and kind. My PA Janet is absolutely amazing. She listens, recommends and always talks through any question I have. I definitely trust and value her opinions and diagnosis.
