Tina Varghese, M.D. received her undergraduate degree in Biology at The College of New Jersey and earned her medical degree from Rutgers-New Jersey Medical School. She then continued her training at Emory University School of Medicine, where she completed both her Internal Medicine residency and Cardiology fellowship. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology, with additional certifications in Echocardiography and Vascular Imaging. Dr. Varghese is a wonderful cardiologist who is very knowledgeable. She was able to get me in very efficiently and got me everything I needed for my treatment plan during my appointment. Her support staff are also amazing. They made scheduling everything a breeze and explained everything to me to make it as easy as possible.
Dr. Varghese was the cardio doctor on duty when I was admitted to Piedmont with difficulty of breathing and accelerated heart rate. She became my doctor afterwards on a preventative measure due to immunotherapy. She is very knowledgeable, has GREAT bedside manners, and she PAYS attention. She noticed something on one of my routine visits and addressed my concern that I had told other physicians that fell on deaf ear. Thank you Dr. Varghese for being an empathetic doctor who really cares!!!!
Dr. Varghese takes care of my wife, who says she is an excellent cardiologist who takes the time to listen to patients and formulate a plan together. She is extremely knowledgeable as well as kind and compassionate. Highly recommend.
