Patient
Update: I received a follow-up call from someone who was sincerely apologetic, thoughtful, and direct. That conversation completely changed my perception of the situation. The way it was handled made all the difference for me to give them another chance. Problems can happen anywhere--that's part of life--but what truly matters is how they're addressed. In this case, the response made me feel heard, valued, and respected. I truly appreciate the care and professionalism shown in resolving the matter. -------- Extremely Disappointed with Inconsistent and Disrespectful Treatment My recent experience with Dr. Cesar Cruz and his office left me feeling so disrespected as a patient that I feel compelled to share. On March 18, I had an 8:30 a.m. appointment and ended up waiting almost an hour before I was finally seen. I was patient and understanding--things happen. However, today I had a 3:45 p.m. appointment, and due to unexpected rain and traffic, I called ahead to inform the clinic I would be about 15-20 minutes late. I was told there might be a 15-minute grace period. I arrived at 4:04 p.m., only to be told the doctor had already left. I find it unacceptable that I'm expected to wait close to an hour without complaint, yet a 19-minute delay on my part results in a missed appointment with no flexibility or care. This experience made me feel invisible and unimportant as a patient. I will no longer be seeking care within this network and will find a provider who respects patients' time and health with the same consideration they expect in return.
