8 month wait for an existing patient appt. This is cardiology, not wedding planning. Limit your patient intake or add more doctors. However, the one time I was able to see Dr Gonzalez, she was very nice.

Wonderful doctor. Terrible healthcare system. I love Dr. Gonzalez; she is caring and knowledgeable. However, the Emory Healthcare system is a nightmare, and unless I have an urgent need to see Dr. Gonzalez, I will not go there ever again. Parking is a hassle, the valets are rude, drive like maniacs, and actually broke the gearshift on my car once! Reaching someone by phone within the system is nearly impossible. It takes 20 minutes to make an appointment, and that's assuming that the doctor is actually taking patients; once I spent 21 minutes on the phone (most of it on hold, of course) to find out that the three doctors in question were not taking new patients. Obtaining medical records is a maze of contact numbers and forms. You need three different online accounts: one for the portal, one for medical records (assuming you can get it to work), and one to pay your bill. So if you don't mind all of this stuff (which I do), then definitely go see Dr. Gonzalez. She is a terrific provider. But if you'd rather not deal with the hassle, then I would avoid Emory Healthcare altogether.

Healthcare system quite frankly, sucks. Dr. Gonzales nice, but way too fast.
