Dr Champney has my vote of confidence. She is one of the best doctors from whom I've ever had the privilege of receiving medical treatment. Knowledgeable, conscientious, dedicated, and a good communicator. She is well-grounded and good at listening as well as problem-solving. Dr Champney is busy and does not waste time, but she doesn't cut corners on patient care either. Kudos Dr Champney!
I didn't have a great experience with the initial supporting staff, I just knew it would be the continuation of the intake but it wasn't. Dr Champney took the time out to read my info the previous night and even my summary. I got tongue tied a few times from the anxiety experience of earlier and was close to tears. But Dr Champney was patient, explained things in layman's terms. very kind and had a very elegant bedside manner and patience. The check out receptionist has the sweetest disposition. She was thorough, voice controlled, kind eyes and smile. This is the interaction I needed at beginning. My appointment ended with paperwork printed by 1:12pm. The entire time in/out was 45 mins. Impressed
Dr. Champney spent a great deal of time by phone and in person making sure that my mother understood her diagnosis, current condition and prognosis. She was extremely patient encouraging my mother to ask questions, and allaying any fears about the proposed procedure. Most importantly was that she diagnosed my mother correctly and referred her to an interventional cardiologist who performed a very successful cardiac valve replacement.
What a fantastic doctor! Dr. Champney spent an hour with my husband, a patient of her partner's, after a problem. She was very thorough and enjoy scheduled a procedure to allow our family to take a long planned trip. Superb doctor!
Thorough, warm, and exceedingly intelligent- Dr. Champney is someone who is excellent at what she does and diligent in her follow-through. I cannot say enough about the quality of care she has provided me. Get established with this doctor immediately if you need a cardiologist.
