About Dr. Katherine J. Kunkel, MD
Dr. Kunkel earned her medical degree at Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania. She then attended the Johns Hopkins Hospital where she completed her residency in Internal Medicine. She went on to complete fellowships in Cardiovascular Diseases, Interventional Cardiology, and Structural Interventions at Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, as well as Complex, High-Risk Indicated Percutaneous Coronary Intervention and Advanced Hemodynamic Care at Henry Ford Hospital. She has a Masters in Medical Education which she earned at the Graduate School of Education at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Kunkel is one of the best Phyicians I've ever experienced! She took quite a bit of time to explain in detail my medical status. No other doctor I've experienced has taken the time to do this. I have been going to Doctor Kunkel for four months. She got my blood pressure down from a scary 200+ to a normal 110-115. She listens to your concerns and helps you reach a healthy heart. I think she is wonderful. I'd give her 100 stars if I could.
