About Dr. Joseph Miller, III, MD
Dr. Joseph I. Miller received his undergraduate degree and medical degree from Emory University. He completed his internal medicine residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center then returned to Emory to complete a cardiology fellowship. Dr. Miller was the recipient of the Emory University Attending Teaching Award, Department of Medicine and was chosen as the Emerging Science of Lipid Management - Emerging Leader in Field for five consecutive years. He is a past recipient of the National Health Institute's (NIH) fellowship training award and is actively involved in multiple research projects. Doctor miller is a great doctor who takes his time and answers all your questions and answers all of them

Been a patient of Dr. Miller for over a decade. Everything was fine until yesterday when I was 2 minutes past their 20 minute late time. I can understand if I was an additional 10 minutes late but the fact that the nurse comes out and says he was overbooked and has a meeting and cannot see me and that I have to reschedule after I just drove there an hour in traffic (was late because of accident on I85 and roads were blocked). I asked to speak with the doctor but the nurse says, "I am sorry he is in with a patient." Wait! So I am 2 minutes late and he is already in with a patient, probably at least 3 minutes with that patient already - and if I had arrived 2 minutes earlier how would that have made any difference? Regardless, this is a HEART doctor and I have a serious condition and wanted to go see him before admitting myself to the ER, which I ended up having to do. Long story short, if this is how they treat patients now, I would move on. Because I am.
