Patient
Coranary artery disease runs high in my family. Most have decreased from heart related problems. I started having heart issues in 2002. Since then I have so many stents in my coranary arteries, I've lost count. I was introduced to Dr Sandesara a year ago. This past May I started developing chest pain more than usual. I was told by my original cardiologist Dr. Katragada that no more stents could be put in because as he explained my arteries are now like lead pipes from hard calcium buildup up. And Dr. Sandesara agreef. He also said I'm not even a candidate for bypass surgery now. Emory University Hospital in my opinion is the best in the nation for Coranary Heart Disease. Dr. Sandesara told me they have a new balloon sleeve that's under a study program if I would be open to agree to have one put in the artery that is blocked the worst. I said heck yes, since I didn't have much of a choice in staying alive if and only if Dr. Sandesara would become my new cardiologist. He agreed and put the balloon in on June 3, 2025. And since then I've had no more chest pains like before. I've followed up with Dr. Sandesara and on new medications. I realize I'm still a walking time bomb, but I (owe my life literally) to Dr. Sandesara and (HIGHLY) recommend him. I'm 65 now, so I've outlived most of my family. My mother, farther, brother uncles all passed away from heart failure. And during the follow up with Dr. Sandesara. He told me, that he planned on giving me 20 more years at least where my heart is concerned. And if anyone can, he's the doctor that will make that happen. Again, thank you again Dr Sandesara
