My husband met with cardiologist Hector Malave on what he thought was going to be a routine checklist item before spinal surgery in December, but instead discovered an aortic valve issue that needed immediate attention. Dr. Malave and his staff are top-rate -- very knowledgeable, very detailed, very comforting... nobody wants to discover a serious medical ailment out of the blue, but we feel very grateful to have met Dr. Malave at just the right moment. We highly recommend him (and patients we've met in his waiting room have the same sterling opinion of him).
