I truly feel that I am getting the best possible care from Dr. Nilsson and his entire team. They have taken the time to explained my entire health situation in a way that I can understand, never leaving me confused about what is going on with my particular health issues. The nursing staff is the greatest and I am always treated with respect and kindness with the administration department. Bottom line, I feel like a patient, not a number, and know exactly where I stand with my health issues with Dr. Nilsson's entire staff. Thank you to everyone. Joanna Porter

My post-surgery care by Dr. Nilsson and his staff was very poor. Immediately following an a-fib ablation and an a-flutter ablation in 2017, I was experiencing chest heaviness, inability to speak due to almost constant coughing, difficulty swallowing/digesting food, dangerously low BP and HR. When the staff finally returned my calls, I felt they were dismissive in their response to me. I implored the PA to please speak personally to Dr. Nilsson about my issues. She called me back and said his response was that "it wasn't his fault" and for me to "go to an urgent care center" for my symptoms. I wasn't looking to place blame on someone!! I was seeking assistance from the same surgeon that I had placed my trust in to perform my surgery, and to care for me AFTER my surgery. Instead, I felt that Dr. Nilsson "booted me to the curb" upon my release from the hospital. I personally know patients that Dr. Nilsson has helped; however, if ever needed again in the future, I personally want a surgeon who can care for me not only during the procedures, but who will also care for me post-surgery all the way through my healing process.

I have to say that while I still stand by my previous review regarding my care, I could not be more pleased with the successful "healed outcome" of my 2 ablations performed by Dr. Nilsson. I've NEVER experienced a-flutter since my surgery, and I very, very seldom experience a-fib, PTL!

I received first rate care from Dr Nellson and his staff. My insurance brought me to this his practice from the Atlanta area. Dr Nellson preformed a cardiac ablation that went perfect. My family was kept up to date through out the surgery. Stayed over night and was released next morning. I will continue to drive the 90 miles to see Dr Nellson.
