Dr Barsoum is triple-board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology. He has considerable experience providing a variety of interventional cardiology therapies including complex and high-risk percutaneous coronary interventions, percutaneous transluminal angioplasty, deep and superficial venous therapy and more. After graduating from California State University as a biochemistry major, Dr Barsoum attended medical school at St. George's University in the West Indies. He returned to the states for his internal medicine residency training and dual fellowships in cardiology and interventional cardiology at Seton Hall University/St. Michael's Medical Center in New Jersey.

Dr.Barsoum is one the very BEST!! I would recommend him to everyone in the state and out of the state. He took the very BEST care of my mom. He is very down to earth. Very knowledgeable. Learns his patients and guides them through everything. I know for a fact Dr.Barsoum is NOT like any other doctor. He is FOR the patients and NOT the money. We appreciate him so much!!! 10/10 and would recommend him to any and everyone!
He did did my heart catheter twice. The second time I was staying in the hospital and he came by a couple of times to check up on me.
On November 28,2023 I met Dr. Barsoum due to the emergency blockage I learned of during the Thanksgiving week, it was a very emotional time, in less than a year Oct. 15, 2024 I ended up passing out and ended up needing two more stents. From first meet to all the cares of Dr. Barsoum he has been so awesome. Though this is on my husband's page, am Shallamar, I had my follow up on 11-20-2024, a bit earlier than my original. I was feeling I was not recovering as quickly. Dr. Barsoum visit yesterday was one of the most caring experience with a physician. I only have gotten weak with my children's pediatrician simply because a mother's love and heartaches if something is wrong with our babies. I was able to just truly open up yesterday, I really let my heart out seriously who else to do so other than your cardiologist right? I also thought well was in need of primary care and thought who else to recommend a good doctor but your cardiologist. Thank you Dr. Barsoum for listening, thank you for saving my life, hearing of my challenges and the oh so much I have shared. I have apologized for becoming so weak in emotions, you were so understanding sincere and it felt more as if we were having a therapy session rather than a cardio follow up. It meant a lot to be able to get it all out, and I must say today I feel so awesome and amazing did not wake up with pain, maybe as we discussed leave it to him the higher source, well I hope I wake up feeling this fabulous and things turn around. Thank you for letting me feel comfortable as I am working to get back to myself.
