Maribel Montoya MD My Endocrinologist PA

My experience for the two visits I have had were exceptional. They took time to listen to my concerns and offered options for treatment. My appts were with Lucia Quiroz (who is wonderful) and I did meet Dr Montoya on my first visit. My wait time after arrival at the office was minimal and the staff were courteous and efficient.

I've been a patient of Dr. Orozco for over 6 years and highly recommend him. He's knowledgeable, clear, and precise. The team is attentive and dedicated. Most patients have excellent experiences, but we don't always take the time to write a review. If they don't answer the phone, texting is very efficient and the best way to reach them.

If I could leave zero stars, I would. I have been an established patient with this office since 2022 and the lack of care or concern from the folks at this place is off the charts. Every time I had a question for the care team, no one was ever available and the to get them to call you back is nearly impossible. The biggest issue I have and the reason for this review is that a month ago I had a total knee replacement and my blood sugar spiked alarmingly high. I literally called this office on a Monday to speak to the care team. No one answered. I attempted to call and make an appointment. Again, no one answered. I then left a message for the care team. Someone called me back and told me "I need to speak to Ms.Hudson and I'll call you back". Needless to say, they did not return my call until Friday. Then she calls me like 5 times in a hour. If anyone from this establishment is reading this YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES!! Thank goodness I have a primary care doctor that actually cares about their patients and believe it or not, they ANSWER THE PHONE!!! Novel idea, right?? It would have been of nice to know that my blood sugar would spike post surgery. I had an appointment a week before the surgery with Ms. Hudson and this wasn't even discussed. Unfortunately, most of the endocrinologists in central Florida have this same issue. They don't answer the phones or return calls in a timely manner. Thankfully my primary dr offered to help me manage my diabetes and I no longer need to deal with this horrible office.

Dr. Maribel Montoya is an excellent endocrinologist--professional, caring, and highly knowledgeable. She listens attentively, explains everything clearly, and truly prioritizes her patients' well-being. I'm very grateful for her guidance and strongly recommend her

Dr. Montoya always listens carefully and goes above and beyond to help patients do whatever is needed to get and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Wait time after arriving is minimal and I totally appreciate how quickly she responds to messages on the patient portal! I highly recommend her!
