I struggled on if I should put this or not because I don't like leaving negative reviews but I also don't want anyone else to have the same experience I had. I would not recommend going to this nyu practice even if you have insurance as they charge more than anyone in the area by a lot. The doctor inserted me with a single shot in my knee of a hyaluronic acid injection. It took all of 10 minutes including my wait time. They charged me $3917. To put that in perspective my husband just had knee surgery by Dr. Norris(different Dr office, highly recommend), where he had to remove bone and fix ligaments and he charged $4000 for the surgery. The shot he charges $1288 and for him to Inject me with it he charged $2629. I messaged the Dr office several times asking if there was a mistake and asked for them to speak to the doctor and they refused to lower the price. I should have asked in more detail what this cost. That's my fault. When we talked about a a PRP injection he said around $1000 and I assumed this one would be about the same. So I highly encourage you to talk pricing before assuming. $4000 for this injection is ridiculous. I will never be back.
