Cardiologist Melhado Mauricio MD

I do expect a wait when I see a medical professional. This guy, I waited one and one half hour to see him, when I stated to him the 1 1/2timeframe, his response was "am I wasting your time". Well frankly, it's 11:00 on a weekday and I have I full-time job at which I am paid by the hour. It's bad time management, his office help could advise clients up front with a phone call, or upon check-in at a minimum.

This place sucks! Very little regard for patients, the front staff doesn't care, and ordering the most expensive test for a person of able body... Go elsewhere.

We love Dr. Melhado!!! His staff is excellent at their jobs. Never a problem in over 10 years. He spends time with us, explaining and listening to our questions. We are so grateful that he is our Cardiologist....the absolute best!!!! Yes, the wait might be long at times, but what do you expect? He is the very best. Only the best Cardiologist will have a full waiting room. If he was unpopular or average, he wouldn't have so many customers! He has a huge staff, all experts, so its not the staff's fault if the wait is long. If he ever hires a partner, it won't help the waiting, because all his patients would rather wait than to see another Cardiologist!!! Maybe he could clone himself????

Phoned in a few times and spoke to someone by the name of "Astria" ( spelling may be off) as my medication that was prescribed is making me feel horrible. I called yesterday to get a nurse to contact me...I was promised a call back yesterday and nothing...today I feel even worse...I called again this morning just after 10am and explained how I felt and i desperately needed someone to call me please...I begged her to have Dr. Melhado, a nurse practitioner or Dr. Lopez...anyone...to call me about my new medication...I just called back ( it's 3:30pm 8-6-2025) and spoke to the same girl who answers the phone...she said Dr. Melhado isnt in this afternoon...and was told " probably tomorrow"....this is unprofessional and neglectful to patients.

Wish I can give a Zero star. It's 10:12 am now still in the waiting room. came in at 8:30 for a 8:45 appointment.
