Patient
I am a general internist with forty one years in medical practice, experience. I never thought I would need a prostate procedure, but it just so happened. I was in another doctor's office about a year ago. And read the article that is really an advertorial about having a prostate arterial ablation embolization, and I was skeptical but looked into it, and apparently it isn't accepted, and it Successful procedure I was able to get an appointment within a few days which was a pleasant surprise. Because I knew the place would be busy and you have to have 2 visits 3 visits, one to meet the nurse, practitioner and find out what the process is. And I took advantage of the opportunity to get my questions. Answered about risks, benefits, alternatives and imponderables, and one to have an ultrasound of the bladder and prostate. So they could determine that I was a candidate for the procedure. And then the procedure itself will be done in approximately three weeks The staff was very professional. The place is very clean and it's very easy to get to Usually I would insist on meeting the. M. D, but both of the nurse practitioners were so straightforward and explanatory that I did not find it necessary to insist on meeting the doctor which I know I will do when he does the procedure in three weeks and besides, there are some excellent reviews here.I'm going to take them at their word That having been said every person who considers going for a medical procedure, you should make sure that they understand risks, benefits alternatives and imponderables, because that's what constitutes complete, informed consent, and if you need to be comfortable it and speak to the doctor himself insist on doing so. But uh, the good news is the staff that I spoke to was more than adequately well-trained and experienced. So i'm a satisfied customer, looking forward to getting thisDone
