I saw Dr. Maldonado on first visit at the Delray Beach office. It was about an hour wait before I got seen by him. I was puzzled when he gave me a handwritten prescription for an MRI, but I thought maybe it's for my personal reminder because the doctor's office usually send the order form directly to the Imaging Center or print out the complete order form for you. But when I called RAYUS to schedule my MRI, they said they never got the order. I tried calling the office but their number goes to a call center with long wait and all the agent can tell you is that they'll send a message to the office. I had to go back to the office because I had forgotten my driver's license and insurance card which they didn't return to me at my appointment or have the courtesy to call me to let me know that I had forgotten them. in order to get the MRI order form.
Today I was reluctant to go to the Wellington office since I couln't get the MRI done because it got denied by the insurance, and I was shocked to find out that they charge for rescheduling appointments. I've seen on their appointment text messages that reschedule/cancel within 24h to avoid no-show fee, which I did reschedule one of my appointments on the day of the appointment, but to charge people to reschedule an appointment regarless of the time until the scheduled appointment time is wrong.

I was seeing Dr.Maldonado for two years. Earlier this year there became a shortage of the pain medication I was receiving, I couldn't go back to see Dr.Maldonado because I was unable to get my prescription filled. I returned in November of this year. A whole new staff and a very rude nurse practitioner. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DOCTOR the worst medical staff and doctor. They don't check your vitals and all they care about is urine collecting . They literally started me back over to medication I received when I first starting seeing him. When I requested to see Dr.Maldonado I was sitting in the room waiting for like 15 minutes before I got up and left . The nurse practitioner was going around the office telling everyone I had an attitude because I wouldn't allow her to scream and yell at me.

UPDATE: I was able to get my epidural injection but there was a long wait time for this appointment as well. I spoke to the office manager the front desk person, the PA and the doctor and express my displeasure about this and the need to address this. I suggested they start checking their Google reviews. They assured me they would look into this and try to resolve some of these problems. Time will tell.
This office was one of several I had a choice to use for pain management which accepted my insurance to treat significant stenosis at two levels in my lumbar spine.
The first time I saw the doctor I waited 2 hours to be seen, despite having an appointment at a scheduled time.
I brought my MRI disc with me to this appointment and expected that it would be copied into my electronic medical record. Apparently, however, this did not happen as when I went to the office in follow-up, the doctor didn't seem to know what I was there to be treated for. As a result, the epidural injections that I was referred for have been delayed for weeks. To date, I have still not received the spinal epidural injection I require, despite being in a great deal of pain.
It is nearly impossible to speak to someone actually IN the office when you call. You wait on interminable hold only to determine that your call is being answered by a call center and not by the office staff and the only thing they're empowered to do is to "send a message" to office staff with the promise that you'll be called back but you never are.
I am in a bind because I need these injections but I feel like I'm stuck in limbo and unable to get them between my insurance company and this office's poor management.

Very disappointed! I filled out all the paperwork online only to show up to the office for check-in and was told to fill out the same paperwork again that I did online and with an office staff on the phone. After arriving 45 minutes early and completing all the paperwork again, I was there for 1.45 hours and never was called. I said excuse me, but I had a scheduled appointment, when do I expect to be seen by the Doctor? Oh, he has three patients before you. I said, sorry you overbooked the calls, but you are the most useless pieces of S--t that I have ever been introduced to in the medical professionals system. Several people in the waiting room were complaining about the extremely unbelievable misrepresented staff. I found out it is nothing but a call center and you are not talking to any office staff. Rude Spanish biatches in the office. DON'T GO HERE!!! YOU WILL BE WAITING FOREVER
