Robert Tobar, M.D., F.A.C.C.

I started seeing Dr. Tobar this January , he is my forth heart doctor. He took over from Dr. Tee who saved my life after my cancer surgery with heart complications I am a congestive heart failure patient I trusted him unconditionally after all he saved my life. But heart failure and other things were hindering me . Soon after switching to Dr.Tobar who was recommended by Dr. Tee and spending time and testing with Dr. Tobar I have determined he is a wonderfully skilled Dr. and I trust him as much as I did Dr. Tee he has good communication skills and is a fine Doctor and very data driven which in the case of your heart is critical. I feel like I am in great hands and expect a long life with him taking care of me ! Thanks Dr. Tobar fine job Doc !

Dr. Tobar is an exceptional cardiologist. I had the pleasure to work with him 25 years ago as my grandmother was his patient. Her name was Elsie Goodwin. She was his patient for 13 years. His staff and office were always pleasant and helping everyway. I am a 44 year old MS patient who has had 3 Strokes and have tried 2 times now to become his patient. The staff last year and this year are ruder than ever. They are not patient with anyone who has disabilities like eyesight or walking around. I walked in and was abruptly told no and the receptionist recognized me from my time as a caregiver of one of his first patients. She was curt. I just called to schedule a new patient visit which Dr. Tobar always said even if he had no room he would make sure to take care of my cardiology needs as he is the only cardiologist I trust. My complaints are simple. Why is the staff so rude and disrespectful. Why are they so unhappy that they have to take their frustrations out on people who have a Neuro cognitive disorder. My heart condition prohibits me from moving at a faster pace. Why must the staff not be well versed in other conditions. Why must they treat people as a piece of trash. I am not disposable. Dr. Tobar treated my grandmother for 13 years.. they say she lived 10 years past his expectations . That is why I only trust him as I need a cardiologist . But the staff has made me so uncomfortable that i don't know if I can trust him with my life. That's not a good feeling when I know in my heart he can find the answers I need to extend my own life.

My husband has been going to him for 13 years and he excelllent doctor and his staff is wonderful.
