They don't care about your child, they care about money and the profit. My son has been going to Nemours his ENTIRE life (8 years), he lost his Medicaid temporarily after his mother passed away. All I needed was a form to be signed by Dr. Barajas so my child can attend public school and have his medical needs attended to while in the schools care. Dr. Barajas denied signing the forms until I paid $145 self-pay for an appointment (even though we recently had one and my child was not due for a physical or wellness visit). The person who called me prior to schedule the appointment said I could be billed for it, but when I came into the office I was denied service for my child until payment was made. As a medical professional myself, where are your ethics and morals? Or your simple care for your medical needy patients??? After 8 years, my son will NEVER be returning to Nemours and I will spread this information and my experience to every single person and parent I know of.
