Dr. Wubneh is awesome! My husband saw him for a second opinion and he is now his primary cardiologist. What a difference between him and the Dr my husband was formally seeing. He takes the time to actually listen and does not make you feel rushed. Very easy to talk to, answers all your questions. Very professional, confident and trustworthy. Seems to genuinely care about his patients. Highly recommend.
Dr. Wubneh inspires trust. The first reason is how he is when he is with you. Cordial. pleasant, even funny upon greeting, once he sits at his desk to analyze your data, everything changes. You can feel the concentration in the room; further evidence comes from the series of questions he asks. The second reason is that he is straight-forward about your condition(s); if a test needs to be run, it will be run. Questions are asked and answered, but he does not shy from using the correct terms to describe your issues. I had seen other cardiologists and come away with the impression that there were no issues when there were; it was just that I didn't understand them. I now have a very clear idea of what I'm dealing with, and absolutely trust that whatever needs to be done to safeguard my heart and health will be done.
I don't know if it was the fact that he was running late from a procedure or if this is his typical bedside manner but Dr. Wubneh was completely dismissive of me and my concerns. He barely took the time to listen to me and evaluate me and then told me that any further testing wouldn't be covered by my insurance (which is not true). He prescribed me a medication and then I was out the door. I left feeling sad and frustrated as I had no answers when I left and didn't feel listened to or valued at all. I hope that this is not the typical experience for people but in my case I have found another doctor.
