Recently in ER where Nurse Dalitza and Shannon Martin APRN took good care of me. Once admitted, the nurses on 4N were outstanding! Can't say enough good things about the compassionate care I received. Too many names to remember during my 5 days but rest assured I was treated with respect! Dr Kelleher and his care team made me feel VERY SAFE!

My experience at Advent Waterman Hospital 6th Floor my Rm 619 was completely OUTSTANDING! This group should be the Model for all other Advent Hospitals to follow. The Doctor and Nursing Staff were highly involved, professional, attentive, knowledgeable, informative and above all genuinely caring. Their attitudes were infectious and helped me to try harder every single day. Nurses Dameris, Patti, Jasmine, Taylor, Lauren and Latrelle were always on point with information and ways to help me help myself. Their infectious, positive attitudes made this hospital visit much easier to handle. Drs. Patel and Arora were quite the team of professionals, kind enough to include my husband in my care plan and I'm sure he appreciated that so much. He is a M.D. although not practicing he is a veteran of the U.S. Army. He still reads his journals & keeps up to date on everything. I'm so glad he was included. He can get a lil testy at times but he kept cool so I'm at least grateful for that too! Everyone at Waterman was OUTSTANDING! From the cleaning staff to the notice that nutrition took to make sure I had some apples & peanut butter (my "go to snack @ home" ) on my tray for each meal as a snack. The entire staff on the 6th Floor South Unit completely captivated me by their knowledge, professionalism, dedication, and genuine commitment to my well-being not only while I was in the hospital but also beyond my stay. This Unit should be the Model for all of your hospitals to follow and be modeled after. I say this genuinely as I speak from experience.Thank you for getting it beyond above and beyond right when it comes to patient care!

Absolutely upset with how I was treated. I have a very rare condition that there's no known cure to, that is causing significant debilitating pain and blood in urine and was told this is not a pain clinic and sent me home after telling me I was being admitted. It's just like people with sickle cell. They have no choice but to come to the hospital for extreme pain. I don't have sickle cell but if anyone researches my diagnosis they will see narcotics are need to manage the pain yet I was treated like a junkie and handed an opioid addiction pamphlet and sent home. I'm very grateful for my nurse who tried everything to help me and prayed for me and generally felt my pain and could see sending me home was wrong. I cannot control the flare ups. .012% of people have my condition and I understand there's not much that can be done but pain relief till the flare up passes. However your hospital denied me of that care and for what? It's not like I don't have insurance, because I do. I always spoke so highly of this hospital and told anyone if they needed emergency medical care that this hospital was great. I just don't understand how you can turn someone away with a pain level of 9 that's balling their eyes out in pain with their blood pressure very high and be okay with it.

We love this faith based health care system. All staff members were kind, thoughtful and well educated. That said, when we took my 84 year old mother-in-law to the ER after a fall where she hit her head I would have preferred a CT scan of her head within one hour, not 3. She is on blood thinners and the possibility of a brain bleed is real and potentially deadly.

Advent Waterman: Exceptional care. Taken by ambulance after a fall followed with hip replacement surgery by a new and outstanding ortho surgeon, Dukens LaBaze, MD. The wonderful and attentive staff both on the recovery and rehab wings made my stay "almost fun". I was heartbroken to leave my Goldens for 2 weeks, but almost all of the staff were dog people do that made it a little easier. Advent Home Health: Absolutely the nicest nurses (all 4) that have visited me since my return home. Very knowledgeable, friendly, all 4 love my 2 Goldens and were very thorough on each visit.
