Siva Kumar, M.D., completed his medical degree at the Sri Ramachandra Medical College and Research Institute in Madras. He went on to complete a a residency in internal medicine and then a fellowship in cardiology, advanced heart failure and cardiac transplant at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. He received the outstanding fellow teaching award as well as numerous other awards during medical school. He is board certified in multiple specialties, including cardiovascular disease, echocardiography, advanced heart failure, heart transplant and internal medicine.

I first met Dr. Kumar upon a sudden onset of some serious cardiac health issues and have been under his care every since. Prior to finding Dr. Kumar, I was quickly losing hope because the prior cardiologist I had been dealing with - seemed to be on very different "pages". Dr. Kumar and his wonderful Nurse Kelly and Ollie (who makes scheduling things so much easier and less stressful) have been key players in my cardiac health and recovery. Dr. Kumar spends the time listening and he even states that he wants to "get to know you" in order to help him with his definitive plan of treatment. He is a specialized cardiologist and I feel very blessed that he is taking care of me.

His office is very busy and sometimes it may take a while to get in but believe me it's well worth the wait, if any. I would like to add that the entire office staff is fantastic. There can never be enough reviews! After 3 months we came back with our daughter and yet again you make our day! You treat us like family. Dr Kumar, KB, and staff y'all are amazing! THANK YOU! We had our Her pacemaker defibrillator checked today, and all is going great there. He told her to resume normal fluid intake, that she's not retaining water anymore, which made her happy.
