Paula Hernandez Burgos, MD, is a board-certified cardiologist and lipidologist. She also holds board certifications in internal medicine, adult echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology. Dr Hernandez is deeply committed to caring for patients with diverse cardiovascular concerns and is particularly interested in disease prevention, minority health and women's cardiovascular care. Dr Hernandez Burgos earned her medical degree at the University of Puerto Rico Medical Sciences Campus; she completed her residency in internal medicine at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine and her fellowship in cardiovascular diseases, also at USF in Tampa.

Great experience at this office. Check in was easy. The time waited to be seen was short. The Dr. took the time to talk to me and actually listen to my concerns. I did not feel rushed at all throughout the appointment. The staff were friendly and happy to assist. I would highly recommend this office and doctor.
