Excellent care. Properly diagnosed me and took the appropriate action to save my life. It has now been 2 years since they put stents in and I am doing good. Front desk was very helpful getting my visit approved when referring doctor forgot to send authorization. After which I was promptly escorted in back to be examined and had follow up scheduled out of an abundance of caution.

I strongly would NOT recommend Anyone or their Loved Ones to receive treatment from Dr Ayoubi. He is Rude and condensing with terrible bedside manner; truly the worst medical care experience I've ever encountered....and I wasn't even the patient. My senior Mother was having chest pains and dizzy/off-balance at her appointment, yet he completely minimized her aliments. Beyond his staff checking her vitals and looking at past records from other places, he offered zero empathy. He jumped to conclusions based on a year-old heart surgery while dismissing immediate aliment concerns. He further said he didn't know why we were there, and ultimately told us we could "get out if we don't like it". I am appalled with his treatment of my Mother and I am grateful I was there to advocate on her behalf. We will never return to this office nor interact with him again.

The medical assistant who works here, Annalie, is quite possibly one of the rudest and most unprofessional medical "professionals" I have even interacted with. When I went in for an appointment she was rushing from the get go, leaving the office to take a break well after my scheduled appointment time. Upon entering the exam room, she instructed me to take my shirt without even introducing herself, what was going to be done, or closing the door. The situation became escalated upon learning that she would need to use a cheap one blade razor to shave me, while I may have been irate; after asking if there were alternative options and learning there were none, Annalie rudely responded "well you can come back later" dismissing all of my concerns as the patient. When I said no it's fine, and gave my consent for her to continue she refused saying I could come back or just do it myself. After some back and forth of me continuing to say no it's fine, so the appointment could be completed, she continued to refuse offering to have me just do everything myself at home. When I asked for her name, at first she refused to provide it. She then refused to provide her last name when asked, running to get the DNP to deescalate a situation that Annalies rudeness and unprofessionalism caused in the first place. Thankfully, the NP allowed me to vent and listened to the situation. However there was no urgency to address Annalie her rude attitude and overall lack of professionalism. I would not recommend this office to anyone who wants to be treated with respect by the medical assistants, while this was not my first negative experience with them, it was definitely the worst and one that could have been avoided had Annalie had an ounce of professionalism or tact.

My husband was admitted to St. Joe's because of a sudden heart murmur. Later, without asking us, Dr. Ayoubi showed up with his NP. They were talking on their phones, to him simultaneously, and back and forth with each other. And without any explanation, he just said, "Well, you have heart failure." With no further explanation, he was gone, and my husband, not a person familiar with medical terms, was in a panic. I assumed he might be overstating the encounter, but I was there the next morning, and except for not being on their phones, the "conversation was just as described the day before, with both talking at once. Dr. Ayoubi looked at me, then at my husband, and said, "Who's that, your father." We asked for another cardiologist. Later that day, Dr. Ayoubi had been scheduled to do a TEE, which he refused to do, so another cardiologist had to do it. Unprofessional, and petulant in our experience. Not befitting the balance of care he received there.
