I used to enjoy going to this location as it was convenient having everything in 1 location and there was always appointments available if something was needed. I also like the practitioner so I never considered leaving. Now you're lucky if you can even get an appointment scheduled. I called in a to schedule an appt for an issue I was having and they had no availability. Now, I tried to schedule my wellness visit and they literally have nothing until 3/31/26. I'm not sure what happened at this location but it is no longer as available as it needs to be for their patients. It seems quantity over quality has taken over the practice which is very disheartening. I hope this issue is remedied so that patients are able to get in for medical needs in a timely manner without having to pay more for urgent care or consider getting a new provider all together.

Once you get in the exam room with the provider and MAs, Techs everything is fine. Until then... Unacceptable. Cancelled long standing appoints and impossible to get a new one in a reasonable time. The appointment call center repeated took me off hold for a second then put me back on at 8-10 min. intervals to avoid quality monitoring. The reception staff was inhospitable, bordering on hostile. When I ask to speak to a manager I was told that Evelyn would not be there until next week. This was Wednesday and she had no backup. The only thing they were happy to do was give me a records release so I would get out of there. Since you are Orlando Health now, maybe you should consider sending them all to the Disney hospitality school and/or fired. Corporate "HEALTH" so called, at its finest.
Gails Husband, Michael Lewis M.D. and it pains me to have to complain about a physician office in a public forum, but their system make it impossible to contact anyone by any manner.

Have been a part of Florida Medical Clinic since 2002 ever since OHI took over its been horrific. The latest is they reported to our insurance company that my husband has severe heart failure - and I have severe depression. Our insurance company has now decided to NOT renew our coverage based on this and they are blatant lies. Never have either my husband or I had either. When you call the office no one seems to know WHO entered these lies into our patient charts. Furthermore, I sent letters and we contacted them through our so called patient portal and nothing has been corrected. Now they say we have to sign forms and go through all of this paperwork to remove these blatant lies from our patient charts. This company is not into healthcare you are simply a number.

Worst Medical Office, do not call! Instead of booking the appt to see my sick son, I was told the provider might call in meds to my pharmacy and to take an at home COVID test. WHAT? This is NOT healthcare. This practice assumes every sickness is COVID, yet 2020 was 5 years ago. There is more than one type of illness and that is why we go to the Doctor.... to be seen! This is quite possibly the most ineffective practice I've ever encountered.
Additionally, not once but multiple occasions, it is literally impossible to get through to someone to make an appointment at Carrollwood location. When I finally got through to an actual person, I was told they were booked until January (3 months). They had to send a message to the staff to see if anyone could fit us in before then. Disgusting. Go somewhere else.

Very disappointed with the customer service at this office. I made an appointment on Friday to be seen and was told an appointment just became available the following Monday. After collecting all of my information, along with my insurance, I was told my copay would be $12 and to fill out the my chart paperwork before arriving Monday afternoon. I filled out all of the paperwork and after spending the weekend in pain waiting, On monday morning at 8:15 I received a message stating that they in fact did NOT take my insurance. I called back, and after being on hold for 20 minutes was told that I could still come in as a self pay. After hearing that it could potentially be upwards of $500, I asked if I could think about it for a moment and call back. I called back 10 minutes later to cancel and was on hold for 30 minutes. After stating that I was not going to be making my appointment, I was asked if I was aware of their cancellation policy. I was not proud of how I reacted but this was not my fault and if I receive a collection notice, I will be furious. I understand miscommunication and mistakes happen but the whole situation was handled poorly in my opinion.
