Majid Mazhar MD

After 28 years with five businesses and raising two kids on my own stress was taking over my health and my body was falling apart. In 2019 I ended up in the hospital with sepsis pneumonia. I remember a doctor with an Indian accent saying I had leaky valves in my heart. At this point I had closed all the businesses and liquidating real estate. I started visiting different cardiologists that kept giving me results from one extreme to the other. After a six level back fusion my body swelled up 40 lb within a month. My cardiologist at the time completely blew me off at a time of high distress. I knew then I needed to find a cardiologist that would give me answers and treat me without extending to visits over 3 month periods which most do. Now in 2025 after a right knee replacement I ended up the following 4 months in and out of the hospital with serratia infection that eventually led to sepsis poisoning again along with organ failure. I heard the same accent Dr while in ICU mentioned I had a leaky valve again. I started wondering what is this doctor seeing that nobody else is. I've gotten to know Dr majib. I can definitely understand what people mention not being heard as most cardiologists have treated me the same but one thing I learned about talk to Majib is I've gotten more information out of him then other cardiologists who can't seem to give you the time of day. He also has bit of a dry humor to him which I really appreciate from a patient doctor relationship. As far as I'm concerned he has gained my trust going forward as my cardiologist.

A elderly family member was an inpatient at North West Hospital. Dr. Mazhar was consulted. He came in while I was there advocating as POA and immediate family. He listened with stethoscope for seconds and walked out. Total visit 30 seconds. No explanation. I followed him to the nurses station to explain that some medicine given during a previous admission caused bad side effects and not to give it again. He said that it was not going to be started and it was not necessary. He was dismissive and half listening. The same side effect happened but worse. I learned later that not only did he give the medicine against the best interest of the patient, but it was in the discharge instructions as well. Bad side manners. Bad listener. Avoid at all cost.

Dr.Majid is a very family oriented care giving doctor who literally saved my husband from very major heart issues by coordinating with surgeon after he diagnosed my husband.We as a family very appreciative and thankful to him.May the Lord God almighty use his hands and God given wisdom for many people

I was Admitted to Northwest and put under Dr Mazhar Majids care, he is very caring and made me feel like I was his only patient i have seen him in the past and he really is an excellent Dr, and he woke me up every morning very cheerfully at 5am

Dr. Majid and his office staff are the absolute Best! I feel they have a wonderful system, and I never feel that I am waiting too long. i've lived in Florida for 55 years and it seems like people are way to much in a hurry . in case if I have to wait,OH WELl,at least I am going to be able to see a doctor who is the best in his field ,VERY CARING ,VERY PROFESSIONAL,and a hidden sense of humor and I will be 100 % care for. .Thank you Doctor Majid and your office family.
