He's very direct, knowledgeable and caring. He has cared for my grandmother, mother and now I'm a patient and I trust him implicitly. The office staff is competent and very friendly. It's so hard to find a doctor's office that's trustworthy and not at all like a corporate machine. His patients are people and not numbers and it's so rare in this day and age. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Bender
It's said that it's better to have a doctor with impeccable credentials than one with a good bedside manner. As luck would have it, I found one with both attributes. Dr. Bender is an incredible cardiologist but more so he is an incredibly nice human being. He's professional, thorough, extremely knowledgeable all while still being humorous, considerate, and friendly. His staff exudes the same helpful, courteous attitude. Everyone in his office is efficient and they treat each patient like family. I couldn't be happier with having Dr. Bender as my cardiologist. HIGHLY recommended.
Dr Bender and his office are wonderful. They are the true meaning of medical care. Everyone is professional, competent, and organized. I am so happy to have found them. Dr Bender has an amazing bedside manner. Thank you for your amazing work!!!!
Update: 2-5 . got a call back today from the office manager . Soo because I went, actually went to the office after I was hung up on, she stated it was "uncomfortable" & how i have to find another dr. I guess when they are usually rude to people & hang up on them, they don't expect the person to show up at the office. Me being a black woman & showing up to 1; keep my new appointment & 2; let it be clear that I am not to be disrespected, it made them "uncomfortable". Your office staff needs to learn basic customer service . But like I told the elderly woman that hung up on me ONLY because I told her she was cutting me off , the front office is the face of everything , it sets the tone of how the care may be , & now that I see how black women or anyone of color are treated there & It gives racist & prejudice .i Will be happy to find a different Dr ,& spread awareness throughout Woodmont & the other local hospitals about how I was dealt with by his staff..wrong is wrong & right is right no matter what! Yes they work w you, I'm sure you guys are a tight nit family but the customer service was poor towards me & I hope "he" or whoever overheard the incident corrected them on where they went wrong. Thats how you strengthen your business. Dr Bender I'm sure would've been great but I didn't get the chance to have my appointment . The office staff here were so disrespectful & rude to me. I missed my appointment, & all I asked the young lady was "hey I'm new to the office, does this office do call, text, or email appointment reminders because I never received one & I have to reschedule & would like one in the future" Instead of her saying, WHICH would be the A1 customer service way, "I'm sorry you didn't receive one I'm sure the office does this service let me ask someone for you so that you can get that call in the future" She Goes "oh I'm not the one who does that, I don't do that it's the desk" you work there. Still keeping my cool, I say okay FINE, still calm with her at not one time I raise my voice at her, I say; "I didn't say you were the one who didn't follow through or if it was your job I just wanna know if this is done at the office you work for" she then books me 3 weeks down the road, sends me to the front desk where this rude rude lady kept cutting me off (the young girl told her why she was transferring me & from there I feel she came on the line with an attitude) telling me the girl is new and they got a new phone system. I just wanna make sure I get a reminder for my upcoming appointment. So since she's not letting me speak I say "I'm gonna let you talk because you keep cutting me off" she yells im canceling your appointment, goodbye! & hangs up" I dive up there of course because what kind of service is that! I wanted to speak to the office manger & I get the same older lady, still rude saids I was getting "roudy" with her. Funny word to use because I'm a beautiful African American woman & that's the first line people of no color like to use... the disrespect ! & during black history month!! Anywhoo ,I tell her don't play the victim! I did not raise my voice Once! I don't have the energy to, I just wanna make sure I get a call in the next few weeks. Shes like oh I don't know If you'll get one. I asked if they gonna need She yells she still canceling my appointment. She gives me the office manger or maybe she lied cause she told me she'll be there at 11 & complain to her . Then she told me oh she might come she might now she has plenty offices. NASTY! Like I told her she is the face & the first line of command & she didn't set an example for the girl she "claimed" was new and for the office . If your so nasty how are new clients gonna think the drs are? Wouldn't recommend base on how I was treated!
