Very knowledgeable and takes time to explain issues going on with your health and medication that you need to take.

My husband saw Dr. Agarwal for about 2 years. During that time he also saw PA, Tadros, when Dr. Agarwal was on leave for about 6 months. We thought Dr. Agarwal was amazing. She helped him with multiple endocrine issues that he has been suffering with for years. Unfortunately, the PA that he saw during Agarwal's absence took him off of a critical medication and caused unnecessary suffering. My husband did everything Dr. Agarwal asked him to including seeing a urologist about some test levels that she was concerned with. The urologist saw him twice, ordered extra labs and was unconcerned about the results which is felt did not have anything to do with the treatments that my husband is on. The last regular visit that he went to with Agarwal was bizarre, unprofessional and unethical. When she walked into the exam room she was combative, unfriendly, disrespectful and had not compassion. She had not looked at the urologist's report, she asked my husband about it and he tried to tell her what happened and then tried to pull up the report. She interupted him, was rude and told him that she did not want to see him anymore that his case was too complicated and told him that she would not refill his medications (which we later found out is against state law). In Florida, doctors are required to give you 30 days notice if they do not want to continue treating you and they must refill your prescriptions. All of this added to the stress that my husband is under and was completely unnecessary. She could have easily referred him to another doctor and/or the Mayo Clinic. She could have told him that her treatment of his condition had come to the end of what she could do for him. There was no reason to act like she did. We once thought we were lucky to have found her and now we feel that we are lucky to have escaped her.
