staff and doctors are great and I would give a 4 IF there's more transparency BUT the company's policy of NEVER INFORMING PRICES SUCK! they were going to take my blood. I ask: how much I"ll be charged for. No answer. They want to give a flu shot I ask how much it will be NO ANSWER just no words. So I went to Walgreens took the flu shot for free. Went to the laboratory close by and no charges for sucking blood. I found out they charge a $50.00 fee for it. Ridiculous. AND so every other tests made there. Why treat patients this way? Totally lack of respect and transparency.

A five-star review could be given if some staff members were more likely to be helpful and better prepared in the professionalism of the activity they carry out.

Dr. Roberto Leoni is an exceptional physician who combines deep medical knowledge with a thoughtful, human-centered approach. He took the time to truly listen, address my concerns with clarity, and provide practical guidance that made a real difference. His attention to detail and professionalism inspired immediate trust. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a doctor who blends expertise with genuine care.

I want to start by highlighting the positives: once you're through the door, wait times are minimal, and both the doctors and assistants are professional, kind, and caring. However, the appointment scheduling process is a nightmare. Let me be clear: you'll never call this office without being put on hold. Mount Sinai's appointment system is inefficient at best. Once you finally get through to the actual office (not the call center), you're immediately put on hold again. And when you do speak to someone, their attitude can be quite off-putting, as if it's your fault they're answering the phone. If this only happened once or twice, I could overlook it, but after being a patient here for over a year, I dread calling. The staff's unhelpful tone makes me feel bad for simply trying to get in touch. Additionally, there have been multiple instances where the front desk or appointment coordinators failed to properly verify my insurance or check if I had the necessary referral. It's incredibly frustrating--I've had to reschedule appointments at least twice after showing up only to find out they didn't check the details in advance. Considering it can take up to two months to get an appointment, this is infuriating. This is lazy and unprofessional, especially considering how easygoing and caring the doctors are. As I type this, I've been on hold for over 15 minutes. It's disappointing to see such a disconnect between the excellent care provided and the frustrating administrative process. The attitude and hostility of the front desk staff is unfair. Let's be honest--Vanessa is unprofessional. She doesn't make eye contact and comes across as condescending when she could easily be more patient and understanding with people who might not know the ins and outs of the medical field. The front desk and phone interactions are the first impression of an office, and they should be welcoming and kind. I want to make it clear that I remain a patient here because of its connection to the Mount Sinai hospital, its convenient location, and the excellent doctors. But I'm quickly reaching my limit with the frustration of this experience.
