I wouldn't normally write a review about the check-in / registration process. However in this case, I really think it's appropriate to call attention to how much the staff cares about the patients. We had a problem with the coding for some procedures that my wife needed to undergo. Joanne in the registration section went well beyond the extra mile to help us figure out how to resolve a Medicare and external doctor disconnect. Kudos to her and the rest of the staff who work very hard to help the people that walk through the front door of this Hospital. We will definitely use their services again as needed.

The ER was extremely busy, but someone checked on me regularly. The ultrasound tech was very friendly and knowledgeable. She was training two students and kept a very close eye on them to help them out when they needed help. A very positive experience all around.

I am giving 3 stars because, my spouse was discharged to a Skilled Nursing facility without his pain medications and other medications he normally takes. He was DENIED any medications for pain except Tylenol - he had major spinal surgery and has neuropathy in feet. He had to wait over 12 hrs for a doctor to approve, I was told this happens a lot when discharged late in the day, this set him back a couple days for his PT

-5 stars? Oh I guess you have to give a least 1 star. Went to Emergency room, promptly attended to and admitted to hospital. 2 hours, that probably should have been an indication. Bad communication between everyone. 2nd day nurse discarded my wife's dentures. Asked repeatedly everyday and no one knew anything. When I asked (daily) they were going to check. Everyday no one knew anything until she was finally discharged. Then we were told that they couldn't do anything about them. Originally on bedrest. Doctor said she should not be on bedrest. I inquired the next day , the nurse checked her chart and it was finally changed. She was on a tube that had to be clamped off to get out of the bed. Gave her a diaper so they would not have to be bothered. Every call was 30 min/hour for response. Many times she soiled the diaper because she didn't get there in time. 1 day she sat in a chair almost 3 hours waiting on her bed to be made. They removed the linens and never came back. Kept calling to get someone. Finally someone came by, wasn't her job but she was going to help out andmade the bed. I expressed my concern to someone there and they showed me how to clamp off the tube so she could get out of the bed. What does that tell you? I gave them her medication list 2 times and I inquired whether she was getting them. Finally on the 3rd time/day she started getting her daily medications. Good luck if you go there. Needless to say we will not return.
