I was able to get an appointment to see Dr. Shepherd right away, when I explained that I had a Watchman Procedure up in New York 6 weeks previously. After seeing Dr Shepard, the office was able to schedule a TEE procedure within a week, as requested by my cardiologist up in New York. Dr. Shepherd spend quality time with me, going over my past and current medical history. I would highly recommend Dr Shepard and his staff. Everyone was very professional and kind. I feel like I was heard as a person, and that at the end of my evaluation, I felt like Dr. Shepard not only knew me and my current situation with my heart, but my medical history and other medical conditions that I've had or currently have. I've been a Registered Nurse for 48 years and was very happy after seeing Dr Shepard, and that he was going to follow through with what the doctors up in New York wanted for me. I feel like the continuous care I will be receiving here in Florida, from Dr Shepard and his staff for my heart, will have a high success rate for me living a healthy lifestyle and to enjoy my Senior years. I feel like I have a new lease on life in my seventies. Thank you.

With over 20 years experience as a patient, Dr Sheppard has always been helpful and thoughtful but yesterday he was encouraging. I have lost 10 lbs and he told me that if I continue losing weight that I may be able to stop the medicine I've been on for years. My EKG was good too so I will see him in a year. Great news!

Dr. R. Sheppard has long been my father's physician. Dad is 95 and Dr. Sheppard has cared for him for many, many years now. Allowing him a better quality of life. Most importantly his team is always professional, accurate & kind. They together assist in making my father's life a full one. We refer to Dr. Sheppard as the "electrical" doc. This review is of Dr. Robert Sheppard, MD. The office staff is efficient and pleasant to interact with. Dr. Sheppard's knowledge and experience was the reason I chose him several years ago. He cares enough to spend the time listening to my symptoms, he explains what he thinks is wrong in a way that is easily understood, then addresses my concerns, He shares what he feels is the best plan of care with me and why he thinks it is best. It's nice to know exactly what is happening next. I don't ever feel rushed when seeing him. Then directs his staff to make appointments for necessary tests and they do it immediately. His bedside manner in the hospital is excellent. I feel safe in his care and would not want any other doctor caring for my heart.

I have found Dr Sheppard to be an accomplished cardiologist. I relocated to Florida a little over a year ago and my prior cardiologist recommended Dr Sheppard. My experience with him has not disappointed me. He just replaced my Pacemaker (generator) and all went very well.
