Dr. Juvvadi is an excellent doctor, he has great compassion and cares for his patients. His office staff is professional and friendly. He does have excellent bedside manner and I would highly recommend him to anyone!
About Dr. Access Health Care Physicians, LLC - Raghu Juvvadi, MD
Raghu Juvvadi, MD. completed a Fellowship in Nephrology in 2011 and a Fellowship in Geriatrics in Florida and has been working as one of the nephrology doctors at Access. He received his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.) in India in January 1998.Dr. Juvvadi has been extensively trained and has an impressive medical career both in India and the United States. He served as a clinical research assistant at UMDNJ in New Jersey from 2001-2002.He served residencies at Frankford Hospital in the Jefferson Health System in Philadelphia and Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA, where he was awarded the "Overall Dedicated Resident Award".

What is unusual about Dr. J is that he can serve as your PCP but also specializes in geriatric and nephrology issues. My wife and I both see him for different reasons. The only downside to this is that the insurance gets confused so co-pays are charged as a "specialist" visit rather than primary care. This takes some effort to straighten out. I have been able to access Dr. J easily most of the time. When he was unavailable once, the no-cost Walk-in clinic around the corner was a good readily available alternative. The office staff is usually friendly and conscientious. And the nurses have been helpful with special requests to help with medical equipment. While many doctors do this, I am not thrilled about being asked to bring all my bottles of medication to each office visit. I carry a shoe box to each office visit and it would be easier to carry a sheet of paper with a list of all my meds. Anyway, Dr. J is a capable MD who takes time to work with your medical concerns.
