Dr. Shahbaaz Shaikh is a board-certified cardiologist with Orlando Health Medical Group Cardiology in Sebastian. His specialties include echocardiography, nuclear stress tests, vascular studies and pacemaker interrogations. He earned a bachelor's degree in zoology from the University of Florida in Gainesville and received his medical training from St. George's University School of Medicine in Grenada. Dr. Shaikh completed his internal medicine residency and cardiovascular disease fellowship at Albany Medical College in New York. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology, a diplomate of the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology and board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Best heart doctor ever! Dr. Shaikh is patient and really listens. Takes his time to discuss everything and makes you feel like you matter to him. His memory is impeccable and impressive and has many years of experience. He's kind, respectful,, knowledgeable, thinks outside the box, and so much more. A team of wild horses could've drag me away from him!! I'm so blessed to have him as my heart doctor!!!

A few years ago after a complete surprise regarding my husband health with a fast trip to the ER and to find out that his heart was at 15%. At the ER a doctor walked in the room with a warm smile and kind voice to let us know what was happening to my husband. We totally believe that God put us there at the right time when the Cardiologist was on call at the hospital. Dr. Shak worked hard to find the answer after about a year after they put a pacemaker in my husband. Something wasn't right. Dr.Shah didn't stop researching until he found the answer and one of his colleagues that was familiar with what was going on.My husband now will be 87 and doing great. His heart is now at 39%. He is working out in the yard everyday. We are so very sorry we had to move but my husband just wanted to thank Dr. Shahbaaz from his heart for caring enough to help him. We both thank you . Dr. Shaikh is a very good listener and he is easy to talk to. He orders appropriate tests and does follow-up appointments as needed. I am happy with him as my cardiologist.
