Overall, this was a disappointing experience. The doctor seemed very rushed and did not have time to fully evaluate all the lesions I needed to show. She treated four lesions total: one was sent for biopsy and three were treated with liquid nitrogen. Only one resolved, as the nitrogen treatment was clearly insufficient.
I have seen dermatologists for years, and this type of service is normally billed under a single code for treating 1-14 lesions. This office billed that code and also charged each lesion individually, resulting in a balance of nearly $300 after insurance, which I consider inappropriate.
The most unpleasant part was dealing with billing. When the person who identified herself as the office manager asked for my date of birth, I provided it, and she immediately began repeating it out loud while repeatedly saying "hold on, hold on, hold on" in an irritated tone because the computer was slow. It felt uncomfortable and unprofessional. When I questioned the charges, she dismissed my concerns, insisted the bill was correct, and told me that if I didn't pay, it would be sent to collections.
I had read similar reviews and hoped they wouldn't apply to me. Unfortunately, they did. I do not recommend this place.

I will not recommend the Doctor or billing department to anyone! I went for a full body checkup, the Doctor came to the room in a rush she expended 5 minutes maximum, checking just with the light , don't even a magnifying glass. The place was almost empty. The worse nightmare is the billing department they try to charge my visit twice to the insurance, I paid my copayment the day of the visit.
I received a bill I called spoke in the phone with my insurance they told me my copayment was
$ 84.10 I paid $85 and they keep sending me messages to make the payment. The person on the phone was very nice and told me to call the office directly, I did and the billing person was very rude to me and explained me that I need to make another payment because she was checking my insurance.
I called back the other line and they told me they can see office try to charge twice my insurance and it was denied ,they told me they will talk directly to billing in the office. (Btw when I went for my checkup desk people and billing person were very nice).BUT be aware they will try to SCAM you with double payment.
I will not go back to that place ever again! Avoid this Doctor and office.

Went to Satya Dermatology today. I was a little concerned after reading some of the reviews. Well rest assured that the front desk staff is super welcoming and friendly. There were two ladies one is Amber and forgot the name of the other very nice people. The doctor and her nurse were as welcoming. Very happy and would recommend to any of my family members.

Don't go here. The doctor didn't give me the treatment I needed opting instead to push a light therapy on me. I went somewhere else and got the Effudex I needed and that she refused to preacribe because she makes her money on light therapy. She also cut off my wife's a non-cancerous mole with a scalpel and left a horrific Frankenstein scar smack dab between her two beautiful and perfect breasts. I am besides myself with rage and so is my wife and I feel could have done it better myself or at least used liquid nitrogen being that it was not cancerous. IMO, she has no handle on the scalpel or the use of cryosurgery. In fact she was very stingy with the liquid nitrogen and ran out and then didn't bother to fill it up. Consequently, the lesions came back immediately. My new doctor puts it on very heavy and it works every time and he gave the Effudex I asked for and it worked. At Sataya, the front desk agent acknowledged she was aware of similar complaints, to wit, the doctor wont provide the patient with requested treatments that other doctors provide. My billl from the new doctor was a helluva lot less too. Beware. She's a greedy , money-grubbing hack, IMO and from my personal experience.

Made an appointment requesting to have a few areas looked at. I was never told I'd be getting a full body check. I made it very clear I had a few areas of concern. Upon arrival I was put in a room and told to undress and put on a gown. No one asked me anything, no one explained what was going to be done. The doctor then came in and proceeded with a full body check. I told her I had a few areas of concern and she did not seem to want to look at them. I explained that a spot on my face would randomly bleed and then she was willing to take a look. She then said she'd need to biopsy. I have never had a biopsy and no one explained what would happen and what to expect after. A few days later I got a call that it came back basal cell and that the doctor said I need to see someone else for MOHS as they do not do it. Horrible experience and I'll never go back. Felt very dismissed and like a number and not a human.
