Mark Ramos, MD - Intercoastal Medical Group

I saw Ramos at the beginning of 2024 for a racing heart rate, severe fatigue, and dizziness. From the start of the appointment it was apparent that the provider had no interest in hearing me out at all. He was very rushed and dismissive. He spent very little time with me and then informed me that I was a "woman" and these things are very common with "women like you." I was told to drink more fluids and salt despite already consuming the recommended amount each day. I had been in the er several times for these issues and when I was finally admitted in May of this year I was told I should follow up with cardiology again. Feeling uncomfortable seeing Ramos again, I asked if it would be possible to see someone else in the practice to get a second opinion. A couple weeks later I was sent a letter being told I WAS BEING KICKED OUT OF THE PRACTICE. Fast forward to today. I have been diagnosed with vestibular migraines, asthma, and am being treated for pots as well. Although 2/3 conditions are not cardiac related, I find it concerning that a provider would dismiss a patient based on their gender and age.

Dr. Ramos is Great! I highly recommend him. He has a good bedside manner and he is thorough with his recommendations. He diagnosed that I needed an aorta valve replacement and he provided me options and explained each. I decided on a TAVR procedure and now I feel Great..

Dr Ramos has been my cardiologist for several years. Whenever I have an appointment, he takes time to talk about my concerns and questions. I always feel like we connected and I've never felt rushed. I recommend him to family and friends.

My experience with Dr. Ramos & staff was excellent. I feel that God had his hand in leading me to Dr. Ramos. I truly believe that I would not be here today if it would not be for Dr. Ramos & staff. My test were result were not good, he & staff communicated the results in a caring manner & quickly came up with a treatment action plan. I am now 6 weeks post by-pass (5) surgery & doing well. The office staff is completely incompetent they do not pass messages they do not put anything in the log that you called and then when you need your medication the doctors say that they haven't heard of anything. After calling for 3 weeks to get the matter handled day before my husband's medication runs out which is blood thinner for a blood clot we call the on-call physician to have them put an order in and they say that we are not important enough there are patients with bigger issues.
