HCA Florida Sarasota Doctors Hospital

I had knee replacement on December 2. I was well treated by everyone and procedures were explained thoroughly. Yesterday I received a card signed by many of the nurses who attended to me and that was nice. Probably the only reason I would not give five stars is this: I had an epidural. A common result of that numbness from the waist down is that one cannot control one's bladder. It would make more sense, and be more efficient, to simply put incontinence briefs on before even leaving the recovery room. It saves personnel having to clean up after a patient, and preserves the dignity of the patient as well.

I had reverse shoulder surgery by Dr. Derek Cuff. Due to my breathing issue, the need for oxygen, etc. it was determined that I should stay overnight to be monitored. Every single person who looked after me was kind, gentle, respectful. I was comfortable. The hospital was very clean and bright. My room was very quiet and comfortable. I can not say enough positive praise for everyone who made sure that I received all care that was needed. I was very fortunate to be seen at Doctor's Hospital.

He was very informative on any questions that I had with robotic laparoscopic To remove adhesions within my stomach. The robot look like the Terminator, but very welcoming and I am in absolutely no pain compared to what I thought I was going to have. I'm having an awesome recovery and it's great under the hands of Dr. Wesley Hendrix. I am so appreciative all the care and consideration that you had for me and how you informed my husband once the surgery was done and I also really love the nurse that you had who was. This was almost unbelievable. Everything on time And moving as planned. This never happens. The staff was as competent as I have 3ver seen. The doctors were so competent I was amazed. In ICU the same thing. Everything was right on time and we'll planned. I dont think I have been treated better anywhere. When I was told something was going to happen it did right on time. As you can tell by this review I was totally impressed. I will never go anywhere else for medical care. The ICU charge nurse had the place fully under control in an extremely pleasant setting. Absolutely the best care one could get..
