Dr. Michael K. Barron, MD

Have been going to Dr. Barron for several years. He's very competent, takes time to go over all your drugs with you, explains test results in layman's language. Rarely keeps you waiting to see him. Fortunately, I haven't had to test his surgical skills, but I think I'll be in good hands if I ever do. Marked down a star because appointments are cancelled frequently. It's not a huge inconvenience for me since I'm retired, but I can see why it would be a problem for others.

Dr. Barron is good when he's reliable. I have been rescheduled enough and today I had it. My blood work is bad. I'm on meds and haven't seen him. I used PTO from work for a full day because I work far. They call one hour before my appt to cancel it. I always get the same reason, "he's in the hospital" Just a recommendation; If the Dr. can't help you on the day you're scheduled he should get help in his office or accommodate you on a Friday. The staff is not kind. I won't be going back. The doctor I work for would never do this to her patients. She takes her patients care very seriously. This is your heart, not a walk in clinic.

Dr. Barron and his "assistant" are rude and uncaring. My fiance was without his heart medication for over 24 hours, his "nurse" waited until 4pm to call me back and said that she would call the prescription in "when she got around to it" and laughed when I told her he had been out of medication due to their error in the first place. We will be finding another cardiologist right away.

I have had Dr. Barron for my doctor for many years. He is the best of the best. So kind and takes the time and doesn't rush you out the door like so many other doctors do. He answers my questions every time and when I leave his office I feel so good. He is always there when you need him. Thank you Dr. Barron for your kindess towards your people that need your help.

I find Dr. Bannon a very down to earth doctor who cares about his patients and provides time for them.
